The Central Venous Catheter (CVC) is a sterile, single-use device for short-term central venous access (less than 30 days) to treat various medical conditions.
Typically inserted into a neck or subclavian vein,
it is advanced into the superior vena cava for procedures like administering nutrients, fluids, drugs, and for blood sampling. It can also monitor Central venous Blood pressure.
AMECATH CVCs are available as single or multi-lumen catheters for adults and Pediatric .
They can be placed centrally or peripherally and are made of radiopaque Polyurethane tubes with soft blue tips and multiple side holes,
